Dr. Charlene To
Dr. Charlene To grew up in Richmond Hill and attended Richmond Hill High School before earning her Bachelor of Science at the University of Waterloo. She then continued her education at the prestigious Illinois College of Optometry where she earned her Doctor of Optometry degree.
Dr. To completed clinical externships at multiple VA Medical Centers in the United States, focusing on diagnosing and treating disease such as cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. She also worked at various private practices focusing on primary eye care and contact lens fitting for all ages. Dr. To is certified in prescribing diagnostic, topical and oral therapeutic agents.
In her spare time, Dr. To enjoys photography, travelling, cooking and eating! Dr. To is fluent in English and Cantonese. She can converse in Mandarin.
OPTOMETRIST
Dr. Amy Cheng
Dr. Cheng received her Bachelor of Science degree and Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo with Dean’s Honour in 2016. She completed her primary care externship at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University where she gained experience in performing comprehensive eye exams in Cantonese. Dr. Cheng also received extensive training with OMNI Eye Specialists in Baltimore, where she focused on the diagnosis and management of various ocular diseases, such as cataracts, dry eye syndrome, glaucoma, uveitis, and diabetic retinopathy. Furthermore, she had the opportunity to participate in a medical mission trip where she provided optometric care in several rural villages in Honduras.
Dr. Cheng believes that quality eye care should be assessable to everyone. She is dedicated to helping patients maintain good visual and ocular health and a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, Dr. Cheng has a passion working with children to ensure that they have good vision to learn and play.
In her spare time, Dr. Cheng enjoys hiking, travelling and exploring new places with her family and dog Cosmo.
RECEPTIONIST
Prudy
Prudy is our very friendly front desk receptionist. She strives to provide excellent customer service to everyone.
Prudy is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
Her interests include arts and crafts, dining out and playing with her dog.
